Deb is an experienced and multi-faceted Interior Designer, bringing a deep, broad and unique portfolio of professional expertise to every project, as well as a lifetime of personal experience.

Before starting Maven in 2008, Deb worked at several of the great ad agencies in New York City, and later in Boston.  In addition to having a lot of fun in the fast-paced Madison Avenue world, she gained incredible first-hand experience in business operations, and also developed her keen sense for client management and her personal approach to relationship building. 

With Maven Interior Design, Deb built a roster of loyal clients and a beautiful portfolio of work. She then co-founded August Interiors in 2019, building a larger studio team and expanding her project scope and location, leading the firm to great success. Home is where the heart is, and she returned to Maven Interior Design in 2024 after closing the doors at August Interiors.

Over the years, Deb has mentored many young designers and supported the local design community. She has served as a Board Member for the New England Chapters of the International Furniture & Design Association (IFDA) and most recently, the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID).

Deb has a classic design sensibility with big and fresh energy. She loves to bring a moment of lightheartedness, drama or surprise to her interiors. But at Maven Interior Design, clients and their dreams always come first.
